Reading fantasy is the best way to hide from your life. Its world is just there for you to dive in and get lost. Oh, how I missed that feeling! The feeling of being somewhere and somebody else. The feeling of looking through somebody else's eyes and knowing that everything is possible. All the roads open in front of you. All the chances waiting. But still not yours to take. It can only touch your life briefly and you don't need to deal with any consequences. What a relief!
I was so unwilling to come back to my Stockholm life that I easily gave in to the wonderful world of FitzChivalry. It's been a while since I read any books by Robin Hobb, but it felt like coming back home and sitting down with an old friend. I've missed it all. And I used it to escape everything, awaiting me in Sweden. But everything comes to an end. So did the book. It's high time I laid my Kindle aside, took a deep breath and let the life get me. I cannot hide from it anymore. Even though I really wish I could/
So let the life begin again =) It's way too hard to keep it on a pause.
